To provide a refresher in the management of neuro-anaesthesia crises

This course provides an update on current management of neuro-anaesthesia emergencies with an additional focus on the principles of Crisis Resource Management (CRM). It is aimed at the ‘occasional neuro-anaesthetist’ who would like to refresh their neuro-resuscitation skills and at Advanced Trainees in Anaesthesia preparing for fellowship exams. Neuro-anaesthesia emergencies require effective teamwork to ensure best possible outcomes. This course promotes a team-based approach and anaesthesia assistants are encouraged to attend with their medical colleagues
