The Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) Committee is a tripartite body governed by the ASA (Australian Society of Anaesthetists), the NZSA (New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists) and ANZCA (Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists).
The ACE Committee was established to promote and coordinate joint continuing medical education (CME) activities in anaesthesia and related disciplines in Australia and New Zealand.
The special interest groups (SIGs) are governed by the ACE Committee. Support for the Special Interest Groups is shared between the ASA, NZSA and ANZCA. Any anaesthetists with an interest in these areas can join together to study, report and develop educational events such as continuing medical education (CME) meetings on specific areas of anaesthesia.
