Aims

This course draws from the disciplines of aviation, health care, psychology, experiential learning, and organizational behaviour to explore a variety of simulator – based teaching methods. These methods are applicable across the health profession educational spectrum, including undergraduate and graduate medical, nursing and allied health domains.

Training Methods

The course combines didactic and experiential learning with practice and feedback to focus on the use of simulation to teach critical thinking and crisis management.
