Location: HNE Simulation Centre, John Hunter Hospital Campus.
Aim
To prepare anaesthesia providers for managing anaphylaxis.
Modules
Using a combination of facilitated discussions and simulations, participants will develop and practise the skills, knowledge and attitudes required for up-to-date management of anaphylaxis. The course will incorporate the Australian and New Zealand Anaesthetic Allergy Group (ANZAAG) guidelines. This course promotes a team-based approach and anaesthesia assistants are encouraged to attend with their medical colleagues.
