DESCRIPTION:Suitable for: Anaesthesia trainees & consultants\, Scrub/scout nurses\, Anaesthetic & PARU nurses\, Operations assistants\, Surgical trainees & consultants \nPrerequisites: NIL \nLocation: HNE Simulation Centre\, John Hunter Hospital Campus. \nAim\nTo provide an opportunity for inter-professional teams to focus on their interactions when challenging situations arise in the operating theatre. \nContent\nConducted within the safe simulation environment provides theatre staff with an opportunity to participate in and reflect upon the management of various challenges and crises we encounter in the Operating Suite. It provides an opportunity for teams who work together to train together. Immersive scenarios followed by instructor led debriefings will provide participants with a framework for dealing with challenges in the Operating Suite.
