DESCRIPTION:Suitable for: Anaesthesia trainees BTY1 & above\, Anaesthesia consultants\, Anaesthesia nurses \nPrerequisites: NIL \nLocation: HNE Simulation Centre\, John Hunter Hospital Campus. \nAim\nTo provide a refresher in the management of neuro-anaesthesia crises \nContent\nThis course provides an update on current management of neuro-anaesthesia emergencies with an additional focus on the principles of Crisis Resource Management (CRM). It is aimed at the ‘occasional neuro-anaesthetist’ who would like to refresh their neuro-resuscitation skills and at Advanced Trainees in Anaesthesia preparing for fellowship exams. Neuro-anaesthesia emergencies require effective teamwork to ensure best possible outcomes.
